Funkmaster Flex is known for for his skills as a DJ, car customizer, radio host, and an all-around entrepreneur. Yesterday, the Hot 97 DJ celebrated his birthday in NYC at B. B. Kings. The artists are finally taking an initiative and are stepping into producing films. “Takers”, which Chris Brown and T.I. are executive producers of, consists of a star-studded cast including Zoe Saldana, Chris Brown, T.I., Idris Elba, Michael Ealy and more. The movie is about a group of bank robbers that find their $20 million plan interrupted by a hard-boiled detective. It is set to be released on August 27th. The premiere and afterparty took place yesterday in California. Aside from the cast, celebrities in attendance included Michael Jae White, Terrence J, Malinda Williams, LaLa Vazquez-Anthony, Judge Mathis, Tyga, and many more.
